Buddy Netwerk: De Samen Schatkaart

Buddy Netwerk Foundation is a professional volunteer organization that provides support to vulnerable individuals in society through the involvement of buddies.

We’ve designed the “Together Treasure Map”, based on an idea by Carmen van Haren, as a tool for buddies and their “mates”, as well as for anyone looking to expand their living environment.

The map offers ideas and suggestions, encouraging action. Workshops are offered to healthcare professionals to effectively utilize it, and it’s an integral part of the basic training for buddies.

The symbolic quest for the treasure

The design resembles a classic board game or indeed, a treasure map. The “game” begins in the safety of one’s own living room. Afterwards, exploration can take place to discover what lies within the street, the neighborhood, and ultimately in the wider world.

Consistently portrayed in all illustrations are two characters: “you” and “the other”, both identical and equal.

Information, ideas, and tips

All illustrations are informatively explained on a central index page. The treasure map doesn’t have a specific goal per se; everyone can explore and discover various things based on their own insights.
