Kunst over bomen: bomen over kunst

We were commissioned by Land­schaps­beheer Friesland to design this art book / poetry collection, aiming to raise awareness about the preservation of the solitary tree.

The book features 35 Frisian art pieces and 40 poems, layed out to mimic the growth rings of a tree across its the pages. Various types of paper were employed, including one that discolours over time, mirroring the gradual aging of a tree.
